The Annual Governance and Accountability Return for the financial year ending 2019/20 has been completed by the internal auditor and received and approved by Full Council. It has now been returned from the External Auditor.
Unfortunately the Internal Auditor’s work was delayed beyond the date for return of the annual return which is laid down in statute, 31st August 2020, due to COVID 19 and this date was unable to be extended
An extension on the date of submission was granted by the External Auditor to 30th September 2020.
