Ripon City Council has 11 elected and 1 co-opted Councillors, representing each of the 4 wards that Ripon has which are:

In April 2023 RCC resolved to adopt the North Yorkshire Council Code of Conduct.

Councillors are required to abide by the NYC Code of Conduct for Members.
