The Mayor of Ripon
The current Mayor of Ripon is Cllr Sid Hawke
Councillor Syd Hawke is proud to have been born in Ripon and have been living in Ripon all his life. Councillor Hawke represents the Ure Bank Ward, had previously served in the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service in Ripon, had been serving on Harrogate Borough Council for 20 years and has been serving on Ripon City Council for 21 years. Councillor Syd Hawke has been elected to be city mayor for four terms.
