Annual Return for the period ending 31 March 2025
The council’s accounts for the period from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025 have now been finalised, with a final internal audit for the period conducted.
The council met on 2nd June 2025 when it received and approved the attached documents which were signed by Cllr Camplejohn who chaired the meeting of RCC.
The forms required by the external audit process can be found on the links below together with a copy of the council’s accounts for the period ending 31st March 2025. The documents have now been sent to the External Auditor for scrutiny and their response is awaited. Once the audit process is concluded this page will be updated.

The Annual Governance and Accountability Return for the financial year ending 2019/20 has been completed by the internal auditor and received and approved by Full Council. It has now been returned from the External Auditor.
Unfortunately the Internal Auditor’s work was delayed beyond the date for return of the annual return which is laid down in statute, 31st August 2020, due to COVID 19 and this date was unable to be extended
An extension on the date of submission was granted by the External Auditor to 30th September 2020.
